For the Francis Crawford of Lymond fans, be aware our next group read of
The Ringed Castle will be starting August 10th.
More details here!

We will also be reading books from Lymond's book shelves. The discussion for these famous classics from the 1500's and before can be found: here.

Join us for The Education of a Christian Prince --Erasmus.

G'day all....really looking forward to this. Sort of apropos...I finally bought a copy of the Scott Richardson book "The Enigma of Francis Crawford". Not an easy read (a little lighter than Erasmus though) but so worth it. More layers of understanding. Highly recommended. Heather

Yay! It won't be long. I've missed everyone and I hope that all our past participants return to comment. I'm very excited about new members who are Dunnett fans who have joined the OBC.
It's going to be another great read together.

I love the cover of the Penguin edition that I've decided to make it my avatar. I do enjoy winter scenes.
