I'm pretty sure she already completed her US book tour for Echo. I checked her site before it was released, and all I remember is that she wasn't coming to Dallas,  but she was definitely visiting other US cities. If you look on her site now, all the future tour dates are out of the US. http://www.cco.caltech.edu/~gatti/gabaldon/tours/tours.html

um... gee... I'm a member and I don't really know! I get email alerts when other members (with the same invitation process as Facebook) add books to their reading lists. It's actually a nice way to see what others are reading (and if they liked the book), so as to find other reading material.
