Back in April, I got an email from Stephanie Klose, one of the editors of RT Book Reviews magazine (aka Romantic Times), saying that she wanted to do a piece about OUTLANDER's 20th anniversary, and asking if I would be willing to do an interview for their magazine on the subject of OUTLANDER, my blog, and Gabaldon fandom in general. Naturally I said I'd be delighted to answer her questions. That interview has now been published, in the July 2011 issue of RT Book Reviews magazine ( http://www.rtbookreviews.com/magazine/rt-magazine) As far as I know, it's not available online, but Diana was kind enough to email me a PDF copy of the page with the article on it. I'm just delighted that the author of the article included everything I told her. Just about every single word. I really couldn't be happier with the way it turned out. Diana's reaction: ""It was a _really_ nice piece. <g> Thanks so much!" If you've seen the article, please let me know what you think. Karen

Congratulations Karen! I will have to see if I can find a copy. I live in a smallish town with no bookstore but there is one about 30 minutes away that has a decent magazine rack.

But I don't think I can do that without permission from the magazine's editor. Certainly not while it's still on the newsstands this month. I did ask them if it would be all right to post it after some amount of time has passed. We'll see. I hope they say yes, because I'd love to share it with all of you, especially those who live outside the US and don't have access to the magazine. Karen

Almost all of it is my own words, which is pretty remarkable when you think about it. And yeah, it's very gratifying to hear that Diana liked it, too. Karen

Thanks, Laura! I finally got a copy of the magazine for myself today, at Barnes & Noble. The article is on page 22 of the July issue, if anybody's interested. Karen

Thistle, did you notice the full page ad in the magazine for the 20th anniversary edition of OUTLANDER? I thought that was very cool.
And thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed the article.
Karen
