The STAR GAZING Kindle e-book is now up on Amazon.com and will be published on June 16th, the day it's published in the UK.
I can't tell looking from the UK whether it's available to pre-order. I also can't see a price (because I'm in the UK and it refers you to the Kindle UK site.) But my publisher tells me the US price will be $9.46. (If someone can confirm that price, I'd be grateful. I've put that figure on my website.)
Reviews have not transferred through from the print book page but I'm hoping that will happen on publication day.
Later today I hope to upload the EMOTIONAL GEOLOGY e-book which should mean it will be on sale in the US by the weekend - I hope. That will be £1.90/$2.99
As ever, if you can spread the word about the books, particularly in online discussion forums, I would be grateful. We can assume my publisher will do nothing to promote the e-book of STAR GAZING (!) and I don't have the same following in the US that I do in the UK.
Finally, a reminder: don't forget we're discussing HOUSE OF SILENCE as BOTM next month! Have you all bought a copy? If you don't have a Kindle remember the Kindle app is available free from Amazon to use on PC, Mac, iPhone, iPad, Android and Blackberry.

Linda, Star Gazing is available for pre-order for $9.46. I just pre-ordered it! It is such a terrific book I can't wait to get it and have it with me.
Also, can't wait to discuss House of Silence as I loved it too!
And I will get Emotional Geology on my Kindle as soon as I can.
Folks, even if you have to read his book on the Kindle app on your pc - READ IT!!! You won't be disappointed. It is a terrific book with lots of twists and turns. YOU WILL WANT TO READ IT and join in on the discussions.

Thanks for the commercial, Tink. The really good news is that my agent has agreed we should e-publish UNTYING THE KNOT unless we get a good offer from the last remaining publisher who has the manuscript. I think hell is likely to freeze over sooner, so I'm already planning a cover for the e-book of UTK. I'm selling 100+ copies a day of HOUSE OF SILENCE and it's become a Kindle bestseller, so I don't see what offer a publisher could make me and nor does my agent. It's just sad not to have print copies. (But when I have time, I will investigate producing those myself.) UTK is the book I wrote to be SON OF STAR GAZING - ie it's very romantic and has a Scots hero (and I mean hero - ex-military bomb squad) who lives in a castle he's restored, plus there's lots of comedy and tragedy. I've got a feeling my readers will really like this one. For those of you who do Facebook, Ch 1 is featured as a Note on my author page. See https://www.facebook.com/note.php?note_id=406774117887 I'm tentatively planning this e-book for Sept. publication and can't wait to hear what you think of Magnus and Fay.

The STAR GAZING Kindle e-book is now on sale on both sides of the pond. So are the e-books of EMOTIONAL GEOLOGY and HOUSE OF SILENCE. All new reviews gratefully received! (Reviews already posted for the print books should eventually transfer across - or so I'm told.) Perhaps now I can get back to writing some fiction... My poor ghost has been languishing for some time.

Thanks, Lady Ross! I've been spending a lot of time with Keir lately, re-visiting STAR GAZING for the Science blog I've been writing for the University of Durham's CELEBRATE SCIENCE festival, for which I'm author in residence (though I'm actually visiting, not resident.) See http://celebrating-science.blogspot.com/

I love Keir. I think I've read the ending to Star Gazing at least five times this weekend!!
PS: I love Arran. Our friends recently took me there and it was one of the most beautiful places I've ever seen. I'm going back in the spring for a longer visit and I'm really looking forward to it. You are so lucky to live in such a quiet, pristine place.

I suppose it's all relative, but Arran seems quite a busy place compared to Skye and nothing like as quiet! Where I live (Brodick) there are always quite a lot of tourists and the ferry goes back and forth several times a day. Skye seemed quite busy (and noisy) compared to the Hebrides. I didn't realise till I holidayed in the Hebrides - North Uist was the first island I went to - that there are different kinds of silence. The quiet of the Hebrides seems much more profound. I suppose it's the lack of traffic on the roads. Re STAR GAZING: I'm very fond of that ending too. Keir is rather wonderful in that scene in the memorial garden. I don't really feel I wrote it. I just eavesdropped in the garden while he and Marianne fought it out. I wrote most of it in one draft and hardly changed anything. I suspected then that it might be one of the best scenes I'd written. My favourite bit is: "Get up! Romantic gestures are wasted on me. I can't see them." "You can hear them. Marry me."

My favorite part is when Keir says: "Mariane, when you walked into this garden, I could see straight away you were pregnant. I could have cut and run then. I'm here because I want to marry you, for better or worse. And because I want-I need- to be a father to that child..." SWOON! Arran wasn't busy when we went for a day in June, but the weather was really wretched, so maybe the absence of tourists had to do with the bad weather! We took the ferry through Brodick-but our hosts have a house in what I believe to be the middle of the island. I get driven around everywhere so I get a bit confused. I think I saw about ten other people! It was very quiet to me! Though we went to Hayling Island (way south England, it's very small) in June, too. I thought it was very quiet there, with a lot more people than Arran. I think I've lived in cities too long to appreciate true silence.

That's great news I like the idea of Star Gazing being a ‘ thinking-woman’s romance’ ...
