Sorry about the weather and travel woes, but I'm so glad you made it and it was a nice event. I love that the trophy is star-shaped. So appropriate to the winning book.  And, thanks for sharing both the story and the great picture.

I hadn't even heard of Linda Gillard - but given the fabulous taste in books I've seen so far on this forum, I'm going to have to give her a try

Oooo.... you are going to *love* Star Gazing! It was my introduction to Linda and her un-put-down-able books!
