“Sassenach." He had called me that from the first; the Gaelic word for outlander, a stranger. An Englishman. First in jest, then in affection.”

You know, a friend has asked me each of the last several years when I've posted my reading list, what my five favorites were and I always hedge and combine series (so I might say the Outlander series if I read more than one in a year) and separate it into categories (favorites in fiction, non-fiction, classics and young adult, I think). And, since my list has been growing each year (between audiobooks and making more reading time), it's just getting harder. I generally post the list and favorites (such as they are) in early January, so I'll try doing that here too.

I'm impressed that you managed it so well. :D And, I have added the three that I haven't read yet to my "To Read Sometime" list, but since that list grows at a faster rate than my "Books Read" list I don't know when I may get to them.
