Has anyone read Game of Thrones by George R. Miller? I have it downloaded, and I'm going to read it soon. The HBO series of it starts in April, and I want to read it before the series starts.

It's actually George RR Martin known as GRRM by hard core fans. - A Song of Ice and Fire series is on my reading list- Game of Thrones is the first book. George RR Martin is the same author that DG collaborated with for Songs of Love and Death and Warriors. Down These Strange streets is also edited by GRRM and will have a DG short story, too. Here's a wikipedia of the Song of Fire and Ice series: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/A_Song_of_Ice_and_Fire

OK, I didn't know anything about it except that I saw the trailer for the HBO show. I checked to see if it was a book series, and was happy to see that it was How Coincidental that he has a connection to DG. My favorite minds think alike LOL!

Yep, they do. I'd been meaning to read GRRM before I discovered OL. I happened to get both series for Christmas- but I haven't started GRRM yet because I'm too engrossed with OL.

I have started Game of Thrones and it is very compelling! It looks like the HBO series, from what I've seen of the website, will be fabulous.

Good! Maybe I'll be motivated to start it after my whole OL series rekilt. I don't get HBO, but when it comes on Netflix I'll watch it.
