"As if love wasn't hard enough! Imagine not being able to touch your boyfriend without sucking away his soul. Welcome to the world of Georgina Kincaid, a reluctant succubus living in Seattle who always seems to find herself in the middle of supernatural intrigue..." (http://www.richellemead.com/books/succubusblues.htm)

Anyone else read these books? There are 6 of them so far (well, the sixth comes out on the 30th), and they're fantastic.

The first is called Succubus Blues, here is the blurb from Richelle's site:

Succubus (n) - An alluring, shape-shifting demon who seduces and pleasures mortal men.

Pathetic (adj.) - A succubus with great shoes and no social life. See: Georgina Kincaid.

When it comes to jobs in hell, being a succubus seems pretty glamorous. A girl can be anything she wants. The wardrobe is killer, and mortal men will do anything just for a touch. Granted, they often pay with their souls, but why get technical?

But Seattle succubus Georgina Kincaid’s life is far less exotic. Her boss is a middle-management demon with a thing for John Cusack movies. Her immortal best friends haven’t stopped teasing her about the time she shape-shifted into the Demon Goddess get-up complete with whip and wings. And she can’t have a decent date without sucking away part of the guy’s life. At least there’s her day job at a local bookstore—free books, all the white chocolate mochas she can drink, and easy access to bestselling, sexy writer, Seth Mortensen, aka He Whom She Would Give Anything to Touch but Can’t.

But dreaming about Seth will have to wait. Something wicked is at work in Seattle’s demon underground. And for once, all of her hot charms and drop-dead one-liners won’t help because Georgina’s about to discover there are some creatures out there that both heaven and hell want to deny…

I love all of Richelle Mead's books! Can't wait for Succubus Revealed. She also has a shaman Eugenie Markham series that is fabulous. There is the Vampire Academy and now spinoff Bloodlines series for Young Adults.

Yup! I've read them all, have you read bloodlines? if so what did you think of it?
:) so super excited for the next succubus book!!

have any theories?

*potential spoilers for people who haven't read the first 5 books*

I think Seth might be the reincarnation of her old husband (I've forgotten his name?)... her original contract was that everyone she knew would continue their lives as if she never existed... but what if, while he didn't remember her, he couldn't move on and live without her? ... therefore her contract would be void because his life didn't continue as if she was never part of it. And now in his current reincarnation as Seth he has found her again... hence why he accidentally called her Letha even though no-one had told him that that was her old name.

I just finished Bloodlines last night. It's well paced and full of twists and turns--very satisfying. I did miss Dmitri, though, who doesn't show up until literally the last scene of the book. That sets up an irresistible premise for the next book in the series.

I like your theory about Seth in the Succubus books. I will think about that when I read the new one.

Just finished reading Succubus Revealed, I thought it was the perfect ending to the series, although I'm so sad that it's over - I want more!! haha.

I just bought Succubus Revealed but I haven't started it yet. I have started reading the latest Sookie Stackhouse book, Dead Reckoning. I'm glad to know the Succubus books had a perfect ending.

I finished Succubus Revealed last weekend and I was so happy with how she wrapped up the series. I don't want to give too much away, but a couple of the scenes with Carter really moved me, and the bowling made me laugh. I had been kind of scratching my head about why we needed that plot line, but it turned out to be good comic relief.

I had suspected the same things about Seth, and it was cool how that was uncovered.

I had actually been disappointed with how she ended Vampire Academy, so I'm really glad this series ending was such a payoff.

Anyone read her fairy series? I haven't yet.
