I have ikindle on my itouch and kindle for PC on my laptop (Both are free.) I also have the Barnes and Noble app on my itouch and laptop. I have downloaded several of the free books. Recently I have read for free on kindle: Only You. Just a nice love story.  To Conquer a Highlander. Highlander captures a lowlander lairds daughter. Hot. Not Jamie but will do in a pinch.  Eternal Hunter. Similar to the Sookie books. Shapeshifters and demons. Also hot.

I'm hoping Santa might bring me a kindle to play with this year !!

Thanks, Thistle! I'll check them out! Didn't know you could get kindle on pc, another great tip! Great thread to add some good free titles as we find 'em.  I'm hoping for a kindle from Santa, too, Sassenach, it would help tidy up my bookshelves, too!

Sass, go to Amazon.com and search for kindle for pc. You will find the link to download it.

I can tell you I have had a Kindle since last Christmas and it is the best thing since the invention of the written word! It is so convenient and easy to read. I highly recommend it.
