I edited this list and took off my "classic" books since there is a separate one for that. Also figured out that in order to get in 50 a year I'm going to have to read 4 books a month. :worry:

I am NOT doing very well. I can't seem to get into reading right now. Not sure what is wrong with me cause I've usually got at least 2 books going.

I've been doing a big push on listening to books from netlibrary because my library is switching its download company. I think I had more audiobooks in April and in particular more by certain authors/series because I wanted to get to them while I still could. That will be true for part of May also, as I try to listen to all the ones I have checked out and will cease to play in the next 2-3 weeks.

Yes, I think so. ;) And, I hope you're enjoying Sookie and friends. I really like that series too. I post over at Charlaine Harris' board also, including on the DG thread in her Other Writers section. :flower:

5. Archangel's Kiss by Nalini Singh
6. Archangel's Blood by Nalini Singh
7. The Book Thief by Marcus Zuzak
8. Queen's Play by Dorothy Dunnet
9. Emotional Geology by Linda Gillard
10. The Whole Beast: Nose to Tail Cooking by Fergus Henderson

*As we can see, I had a run on Nalini Singh there in the beginning of the month! You need something trashy to counter-balance the depth of Dunnet, I say! I'm also reading a book of John Donne's works along with a book of Scottish Poetry, both of which aren't full read-'em-all-at once books. Same thing with a PG Wodehouse book as it is more short stories that I pick up every few days or so instead of reading straight-through. I feel as if I read more in January than is on my list, but I guess not!
