Lassiter is a fallen angel, (JDW has begun a trilogy of Fallen Angels, beginning w/Covet and the newest being Crave). In his angel state, Lassister glows like sunshine. In his 'earth state', physically, has black and blond long hair, (as long as Wrath's), He wears army/navy black shirts and camo pants and combat boots. His face is described as gorgeous, he is multi-pierced, including hoops, chains and the such. Lassiter adds not just great humor to the BDB stories, but he offers his strength of character as well.

Introduced in Lover Enshrined, (Phury's book), Lassiter has been sent by Wellsie to bring Tohr back to the Brotherhood compound and basically snap him out of his funk. He is seriously devoted to Tohr, and he is protective of the King. He has a lot of history and has been around for eons of time. When Lassiter meets the Brotherhood, carrying Tohr in his arms, Wrath insinuates that the last time Lassister was on earth, there was a plague in central Europe.

IMHO, one of Lassiter's best trait is his humor as exemplified in his opening line to the BDB: "Well, if it isn't good King Wrath and his band of merry-merry happy-happy. I swear you boys should do kiddie shows, you're so f***ing cheery."

I agree with you, Chickie, Lassiter's lines always make me smile and laugh out loud a lot of those times, as well. He sounds like he'd be great fun to hang out with and watch tv! It seems like of all the brothers, Rhage seems to "get" him the best - scenes with those two are great fun.

I really hope he gets his own book after Lover Reborn. It would certainly lead the way since he's been healing Tohr. I actually found out about Outlander through the BDB board.
