Any fans of this latest book in JR Wards Fallen Angels series? It was my personal favorite, the storyline (although heartbreaking at times) and chemistry between Veck and Riley was amazing!

What did everyone think?

I really liked it too! I love all the WARDen books but the Fallen Angel series is great. Her characters are usually pretty interesting and the heat is HOT!

It sure is!

How did you like the brief views into the vampire world in this book? The racing black Escalade SUV (where were they going?) and the reveal to Veck of who was really in the woods that night were maybe a clue that these two books will intersect, I hope.

Veck reminded me a lot of Butch and Manny - do you think DelVecchio Sr. is their Dad as well?

NE, interesting idea about DelVecc being the dad for Butch and Manny! Great catch. I hadn't thought about that bt it wold make perfect sense. I did catch the references to the brothers which I thought was brilliant. It would be fun to have them intersect.

It does kind of fit - in Envy he is an art/antiquitie dealer, but then the references to the work he did for Devina indicated some surgical skill, as well. :worry: Since the latest BDB book mentioned how much Butch looked like Manny's dad's picture, I guess Jose delaCruz would have seen the similarities between Butch and Veck, but other than the similarities in their personalities, nothing else is really mentioned...I'd love to "interview" Jose and Manny's mom, the mystery is driving me nuts! (in a good way) ;)
