It's a relationship strong in humor, friendship and love. V was the one Brother that didn't delve into tight relationships, keeping everyone @ arms length. Yet, from the get go he realized that Butch was someone he could let in.
Butch didn't mind V's sexual 'preferences'.
He didn't get all weirded out about V's glowing hand; (Remember in Dark Lover when V was shaving and had his glove off?)
Didn't mind V having 'feelings' for him.
Butch and V are Brothers in so many ways, True?

Exactly Chickie! Butch and V connected initially through sports, but by the end of the day a lasting relationship was already well on its way to being forged. Wrath really cracked me up when he went to their room the next day and made that comment about... can't remember the words... but their simultaneous response was priceless.... F... you!
