Aquagirl, I figured a Tohr/? thread should be started. I am dying to know who his new Shellan will be. As a reader, it's one of those: 'I want Tohr to be happy; but I miss Wellsie too and don't want to disrespect her memory' position. I cannot fathom how it would be for Tohr to deal w/!

On FB last week:

JRW: I saw the prototype a little while ago-I can check in with Penguin where it is final

JRW: Just emailed my editor:D As far as I know, that was a prototype...his hair's too blond.

JRW: Yeah, that's why I wait wait to release until I'm one hundred percent sure it's final final final.

So, basically, the cover that has been sent around the world is just a prototype; thank goodness bc I wasn't feeling the look of the model they used for Tohr at all! As JRW said, Tohr is way too blond. If I recall in Dark Lover, JRW described Tohr as a dark-haired military look warrior.

Cool, thanks for the link and the update, Chickie! It will be great to see Tohr happy again, and I completely agree about the dark hair, that's how I imagined him, as well. Maybe Quinn/Blay will be worked into Tohr's storyline, kind of like it was in Lover Unleashed? Either in their own book or the next one, that is one story line it would be great to see work out with their HEA.

My guess is that we'll see more of JM in LR. Being that he was part of Tohr & Wellsie's little family before she went into the fade. Also, we'll get a little bit more of Lassiter ~ who's sense of humor in Lover Avenged was exactly what the story needed.

"Spending time w/you is like watching paint dry." Lassiter's voice echoedup to the stalactites hanging from the Tomb's high ceiling. "Except without the home improvement - which is a tragedy, given how the place looks. Do you guys always go for the gloom and doom? You never hear of Pottery Barn?"

I'm hoping JRW resumes her trek back to where so many of her readers want her to be - @ the :<3:

of the BDB stories. LUn was better than LM, but there were several misses. I so enjoy the world of the BDB; I'm willing to invest myself into LR happily anticipating Tohr's HEA and a continuation of the black leather and s***kickers of the BDB.

Do we know for sure? I had a guess and I know others considered the same person, but I didn't know whether JRW had verified it.

Okay then.......people discussing Lover Reborn are speculating that Tohrment's new love will be No'One, whom he helped rescue and ahvenge when she was abducted by the symphath centuries ago. She was subsequently cast out by her glymera family as "damaged goods" and went to serve the Chosen. No'One and the symphath were Xhex's parents.

That would make Tohr's and John Matthew's relationship even more entwined (stepfather-in-law?). Not to mention that Tohr was Darius' young ward when they rescued No'One together and centuries later Darius was granted new life by the Scribe Virgin as J.M. without the memories. If No'One and Tohr bond as mates, maybe J.M. will remember more about his past as Darius and how he rescued Tohr from an abusive father? And no matter what I hope that No'One change her name to something more positive and empowering.

Interesting. I was hoping that Layla would somehow get her HEA but maybe in the next book!

As for No'one, I would be thrilled for her to get her HEA after all the years of loneliness she must have had.

I agree about a new name for No'One and that she deserves a wonderful HEA after all she's been through. I thought they were quite the likely couple when I read Lover Mine.

I think Layla will get her HEA, but I don't expect it with Tohr. Maybe Murhder?

Has anyone read Tohr's book yet? I started reading BDB after Gabaldon's AEITB, and while waiting for Scottish Prisoner to come out. Got hooked, have been waiting for Tohr's story and.... I need to talk about this!!

I have finished it and I think it's one of the best HEAs with multiple twisting plotlines! Tohr gets a HEA while giving Wellsie the respectful send off she deserves. There is a HEA for Xhex's long suffering mother. It brought a lot of characters' pasts and relationships full circle in a satisfying way.
